It was so much fun being a part of Ashley and Steven’s suburban wedding. And, since Ashley works with the DuPage Convention and Visitors’ Bureau, it’s no surprise she picked some of our favorite DuPage settings for her photos and reception, including the Elmhurst Historical Museum mansion, Ashley’s alma mater, Elmhurst College, and the scenic Hyatt Lodge on McDonald’s Campus. It was a nice surprise, however, that she shared her experience with other brides to be on her Ashley’s Angle blog. “I brought in pictures of things I liked, and Phillip’s totally ran with it. Our designer seemed to understand exactly what I wanted even when I couldn’t articulate it.” The floral designs and reception decorations featured peonies, ranunculi, roses, and other lush garden flowers, with Mercury Glass vessels, shimmering votives, and romantic scattered rose petals.
