DePaul Wedding and Palmer House Reception
Carrie and Ryan met as undergraduates at DePaul University, where they formed a connection almost immediately. Eight years later, Ryan picked Carrie up in a horse-drawn carriage for a romantic tour of the city and an even more romantic proposal. Their Chicago wedding was a fairy tale dream come true, featuring a stunning ceremony at their alma mater’s St. Vincent DePaul Church and a vintage glam reception for 170 guests at the Palmer House Empire Room. Carrie wore a fabulous Monique Lhuillier gown with an organza skirt, and the Autumn evening was filled with candlelight. Special touches included vintage fairy tale books as accents, a gift card holder in the shape of Cinderella’s carriage, and white gloved waiters serving the main course to the sounds of “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and the Beast. It was truly a beautiful and memorable event for an equally beautiful couple. See more at Splash and Jill Tiongco Photography. Congratulations, Carrie and Ryan! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your special day.
